On 2 March, a temporary expert group meeting was held at the Agency for IDPs, Eco-Migrants and Livelihood Provision.
The main topic of the meeting was the improvement of the mechanisms of distribution of living spaces.
The expert group consists of the representatives from the Public Defenders’s Office and international and local NGOs working on IDP related issues.
At the meeting, the proposals and recommendations from the representatives of international and local NGOs were heard. They have been presented as joint proposals of organizations working on IDP issues to the IDP Livelihood Agency by the Chairperson of the Association “Consent” Ms. Julia Kharashvili.
At the meeting, the attendees agreed that the expert group would work more actively in the future and consider the issues related to IDP resettlement.
