On January 26 in Zugdidi, a conclusive meeting was held in a social café “Friend” with the mentors working in Samegrelo region. Mentors are people from different professions, who have some successful professional and life experience that they share voluntarily with individuals in conflict with the law, and help them discover and develop new interests. Each mentor has been working for 10 months with the mentorees, seeking to promote the social integration of the person in conflict with the law.
The mentoring component was being implemented within the framework of the project “Step by Step towards a Better Future” funded by the EU and Austrian Development Agency.
