In February, 2018 IDP Women's Association "Consent" within the project "Together for Our Rights” started to implement a 3-month program "Leaders' Academy".
Leaders' Academy is an intensive educational program for local community activists, conflict affected women, youth and IDPs, representatives of NGO sector, local self-governments, and people interested in democracy issues.
The cycle of trainings was held in two locations of Georgia - Kvemo Kartli (Tsintskaro) and Zugdidi. Participants, women and young people, were able to acquire skills to work in the civil sector as well as for the promotion and lobbying of democratization and eurointegration ideas.
Several trainings have already been conducted by the Association and Invited Trainers: Economic strengthening, Self-Reliance - Irma Kortua, Negotiation Skills - Medea Turashvili, Iveta Rodonaia; EU-Association Agreement - Mikheil Mazamiashvili, Self-Governance and Development of Local Democracy - Nana Gogokhia
