Third meeting of the platform for women’s Peace Dialogue in Schlaining

On June 26-29 the Austrian Study Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution (ASPR) hosted a meeting of the platform for women’s Peace Dialogue. Women’s Peace Dialogue started in 2015, as bilateral Ukraine-Russian dialogue and then spread throughout the region. In the third round participated 25 organizations from Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. The platform is created as a permanent forum for conflict prevention, resolution and mediation. It is created on the basis of solidarity and promotes strengthening of women and women organizations. IDP Women Association “Consent” is represented on the planning committee, which unites six activist women (two from Russia, two from Ukraine, one from USA and one from Georgia), who are responsible for developing the platform, strategic communication and planning work. At the end of the meeting, the planning committee met with the chairmanship of OSCE (Austria) and the OSCE Gender Section, the committee members shared the results of the meeting with them.
